Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 10 September 2026
1. Who you are buying from
Newsbed is operated by Marios Georgiades (the "seller", "we", "us"). When you buy a licence on this site, your contract is with Marios Georgiades, trading as Newsbed.
2. Acceptance of these terms
By using this site or purchasing a licence, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or buy a licence. If you buy on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation.
3. The service
Newsbed sells one-time, perpetual licences to download and use original news music tracks (breaking news beds, headline themes, and economy & business bulletin cues). Each track includes its five standard cuts (:60, :45, :30, :15 and stinger) and, for most tracks, four or more dialogue-friendly underscore versions mixed to sit under narration and dialogue. One licence covers all versions and cuts of that track.
4. Licence grant
When your payment is confirmed, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, worldwide licence to synchronise the licensed track into news content, for the usage scope of the licence level you purchased (Online, Broadcast, or Network), for as long as you like. The licence never expires.
You may not resell, redistribute, or sub-license the tracks as standalone audio; claim authorship of the music; use the tracks in content that is unlawful, defamatory, or misleading; or register the tracks with any content-ID or rights-management service as your own work.
5. Intellectual property
The seller retains all ownership of the music, recordings, and this site, including all intellectual property rights. Buying a licence gives you usage rights only — ownership of the music stays with the seller.
Original content only: every track offered on Newsbed is composed, produced, and wholly owned by Marios Georgiades, the seller. The seller is the sole composer, producer, and rights holder of all music on this site. No content on Newsbed is sourced from, contributed by, or resold on behalf of any third party, and no track contains samples or material owned by others.
6. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the site or the music. This includes, without limitation:
- using the site or music for any unlawful purpose;
- fraud, spam, or misrepresentation;
- infringing anyone's intellectual property rights;
- interfering with the site's security, introducing malware, probing, scraping, or attempting to bypass technical or payment controls.
7. Payments
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
Payment, billing, taxes, invoicing, and cancellation/refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. Prices are shown in US dollars and charged per licence level. You will receive an email receipt from Paddle after purchase.
8. Refunds
Refunds are handled under our Refund Policy and Paddle's refund handling.
9. Buyer information and whitelisting
You must provide accurate information at checkout (name and email) and keep it up to date. Your licence allows unlimited use. Whitelisting is handled at channel level: submit your YouTube channel on your licences page and, once that channel is whitelisted, every current and future video on it that uses the licensed music is cleared automatically, so you can publish immediately. Channel whitelisting covers only channels you own or control and only the track you licensed.
There is no limit on how many channels you may submit, and requests are processed in the order they are received. We cannot clear a claim on a video published on a channel that was never submitted for whitelisting.
9a. Free non-commercial use with attribution
The free MP3 previews may be used without payment in personal, educational or non-monetized YouTube videos only. Monetization must be off, and the video must not contain sponsored, promotional or business content. You must place this credit in the video description: Music: "[Track Title]" by Marios Georgiades (https://newsbed.net).
Free uses remain subject to automated YouTube Content ID claims, under which the rights holder may collect advertising revenue. Such claims must not be disputed and are not copyright strikes. Monetized channels, client work, business, broadcast or any other commercial use require a paid licence. This permission does not include the WAV files, cue sheets, whitelisting or the claim release code, and may be withdrawn for misuse.
10. Service availability
We do not guarantee that the site or downloads will be uninterrupted or error-free. The service is provided "as is" and "as available", and to the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
11. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages (including loss of profits, data, or goodwill). Our aggregate liability to you is capped at the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, death, or personal injury where the law does not allow it.
12. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the site for material breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. Licences already paid for remain valid unless obtained fraudulently.
13. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus. Disputes will be handled by the courts of Cyprus, unless mandatory consumer law in your country says otherwise.
